In-Person Enrichment Classes   

Take the next step by learning how to create and edit documents using Microsoft Word. You’ll format text, adjust layouts, and practice everyday tasks like writing letters or simple business documents. You’ll also learn file management basics—how to save, organize, and retrieve your work efficiently. This course helps you build practical skills you can use at home or in the workplace.

Learn how to navigate the Internet safely and effectively. You’ll practice searching for information, evaluating websites, and understanding online basics. Through guided instruction and hands-on activities, you’ll build confidence exploring the web and using online tools for everyday tasks.

Expand your skills by learning how to use email and other online communication tools. You’ll send and receive messages, manage attachments, save pictures, and explore video chat options. You’ll also learn helpful online resources and complete a review project to reinforce your learning. By the end, you’ll feel more comfortable staying connected in today’s digital world.

Discover the art of building beautiful, delicious charcuterie boards in this hands-on class—perfect for food lovers, entertainers, and creatives alike. You’ll learn how to expertly pair meats, cheeses, fruits, and accompaniments, along with tips for design and visual appeal. The class will also include an overview of wine pairing ideas to help you match flavors and enhance your board for any occasion. Whether you’re preparing a romantic date-night tray, a holiday centerpiece, or a party-worthy spread, you’ll leave with new skills and the custom charcuterie board you create in class. No experience necessary—just bring your appetite and creativity!

Even though the days are getting shorter and winter is around the corner, your gardening tasks are not done yet! Join us for this overview of gardening practices for pest prevention, plant protection, and garden/lawn preparation. We will discuss garden clean-up in relation to diseases, insects, and wildlife food; fall lawn care, protecting susceptible plants from snow/cold damage and more.

This is a free workshop.
