Capture the quiet beauty of the winter season in this festive gouache painting workshop. Use layered brushwork and gouache's unique versatility to create a vibrant snowy landscape inspired by frosted forests, glowing northern lights, and peaceful winter scenes. Simplify shapes, mix luminous winter color palettes, create convincing snow and atmospheric effects, and use gouache's opaque qualities to build depth and texture. New to gouache or looking to expand your painting practice, discover techniques applicable to future landscapes. Leave with a completed winter landscape, a stronger sense of gouache, and confidence to continue painting the beauty of the season long after the snow melts.
