What you'll learn
- Understand cross-connection and backflow hazards
- Test, troubleshoot, and maintain backflow prevention assemblies
- Apply ASSE Series 5000 standards and current testing procedures
- Prepare for the written and practical certification exams
Prerequisite
A minimum of five years of documented experience in plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, lawn irrigation, or a related field is required.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the 40-hour course and pass the written and practical exams earn ASSE 5110 Cross-Connection Control Tester Certification, valid for three years.
